"Waiahuakua"

Waiahuakua being one of my favorite cave in Hawaii, located on the Nā Pali Coast, on Kauai Island. Most visitors capture the coastline, one of the most dramatic in the world. Often visited by a pod of spinner dolphins, that site is one of the biggest attractions of the island. But further from the crowds, hidden, often difficult to access, lay the Waiahuakua cave. about 300m (1100ft) of cavity in the rock formation. If the view above water is breathtaking, when reachable, the underwater world is something else.

The feeling of serene silence surrounding the diver, the body relaxing, the mind freed. The ability to access this incredible underwater scenes... time pauses, silence speaks volumes. In this illustration, I tried to capture the freedom of the diver evolving in underwater cavities.
